Foster
Kitten Foster Orientations-Register here

Fosters are most frequently needed for kittens of bottle feeding age, although sometimes they are also utilized for puppies or animals who are old, sick or stressed in the shelter. No experience necessary (although experienced fosters are very much needed), as you will be provided with all materials and instructions for the animal’s care.
Fosters need to keep open communication with our LVT and attend all scheduled medical appointments. Fosters provide a lifesaving service and are vital to the shelter, especially in the summer.
It is a job that is incredibly rewarding, but best suits someone who is patient, has free time, and is able to handle the possible emotional hardships that sometimes come along with fostering.
